بَابُ فِي الْمَرْأَةِ تَشْرُطُ لِزَوْجِهَا أَنْ لَا تَتَزَوَّجَ بَعْدَهُ .

عَنْ أُمِّ مُبَشِّرٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - خَطَبَ امْرَأَةَ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ مَعْرُورٍ، فَقَالَتْ : إِنِّي شَرَطْتُ لِزَوْجِي : أَنْ لَا أَتَزَوَّجَ بَعْدَهُ . فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " إِنَّ ذَلِكَ لَا يَصْلُحُ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ وَالصَّغِيرِ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .

Sayyidah Umm Mubashshir (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sent a proposal of marriage to the widow of Sayyiduna al-Bara' bin Ma'rur (may Allah be pleased with him). The woman said: "I made a condition with my husband that I would not marry after him." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "That is not right."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir and al-Mu'jam al-Saghir, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
