وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " خَمْسٌ مِنْ سُنَنِ الْمُرْسَلِينَ : الْحَيَاءُ وَالْحِلْمُ وَالْحِجَامَةُ وَالتَّعَطُّرُ وَالنِّكَاحُ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ شَيْبَةَ ؛ قَالَ الذَّهَبِيُّ : وَاهٍ . وَذَكَرَ لَهُ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ وَغَيْرَهُ .
قُلْتُ : وَيَأْتِي حَدِيثُ يَزِيدَ الْخَطَمَيِّ فِي الْحِجَامَةِ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ شَيْبَةَ ؛ قَالَ الذَّهَبِيُّ : وَاهٍ . وَذَكَرَ لَهُ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ وَغَيْرَهُ .
قُلْتُ : وَيَأْتِي حَدِيثُ يَزِيدَ الْخَطَمَيِّ فِي الْحِجَامَةِ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Five things are the Sunnah of the Messengers: modesty, forbearance, cupping, applying perfume, and marriage."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded this narration; its chain contains a narrator, Isma'il bin Shaybah, about whom Imam al-Dhahabi says: he is wahin (very weak). He cited this hadith and another hadith in his entry.
(Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: The hadith narrated by Yazid al-Khatmi about cupping will come later.
