وَعَنْ أَبِي حُمَيْدٍ السَّاعِدِيِّ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " هَدَايَا الْعُمَّالِ غُلُولٌ " .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ مِنْ رِوَايَةِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ عَيَّاشٍ ، عَنِ الْحِجَازِيِّينَ ، وَهِيَ ضَعِيفَةٌ .

Sayyiduna Abu Humayd al-Sa'idi (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Gifts given to officials are ghulul (betrayal of trust)."
Al-Bazzar recorded it as a narration of Isma'il bin Ayyash from the people of the Hijaz, and
this narration is da'if (weak).
