Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 6829

Sayyiduna al-Nu'man bin Bashir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever ties an animal on the road of the Muslims (and that animal causes some harm), he is liable."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir through Baqiyyah from Isa bin Abdullah. I do not know this narrator named Isa; Baqiyyah is a mudallis, and the remaining narrators of this report are thiqat (trustworthy).
