Majma al-Zawaid 6767 — The wealth of one's child

Sayyiduna Abu Burdah bin Niyar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The most virtuous earning of a man is his child, and every honest (that is, lawful) sale."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains a narrator, Jumay' bin Umayr, whom Ibn Adi declared da'if (weak). Imam Bukhari (may Allah have mercy on him) said: He is one of the leading figures of the Shi'ah, and he is salih al-hadith (acceptable in hadith).
