وَعَنْ سَعِيدِ ، عَنْ مَنْ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَقُولُ : " أَلَا إِنَّ الْعَارِيَةَ مُؤَدَّاةٌ ، وَالْمِنْحَةَ مَرْدُودَةٌ ، وَالدَّيْنَ مَقْضِيٌّ ، وَالزَّعِيمَ غَارِمٌ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .

Sa'id narrates from a person who heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Behold! A borrowed item is to be rendered back, a thing received as a gift for use is to be returned, a debt is to be paid, and the guarantor is liable."
Ahmad recorded it, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
