وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " إِذَا ظَهَرَ الزِّنَا وَالرِّبَا فِي قَرْيَةٍ ، فَقَدْ أَحَلُّوا بِأَنْفُسِهِمْ كِتَابَ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ " .
قُلْتُ : هَكَذَا هُوَ فِي الْأَصْلِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فِي تَرْجَمَةِ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ ، فَلَعَلَّهُ سَقَطَ مِنَ الْأَصْلِ ، وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ هَاشِمُ بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ ، وَلَمْ أَجِدْ مَنْ تَرْجَمَهُ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
قُلْتُ : هَكَذَا هُوَ فِي الْأَصْلِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فِي تَرْجَمَةِ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ ، فَلَعَلَّهُ سَقَطَ مِنَ الْأَصْلِ ، وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ هَاشِمُ بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ ، وَلَمْ أَجِدْ مَنْ تَرْجَمَهُ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "When fornication and usury (riba) appear (that is, become widespread) in a town, they make the decree of Allah (that is, His punishment) lawful for themselves." (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say:
This report is found in this way in the original, from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both), within the biography of Sayyiduna Usamah bin Zayd (may Allah be pleased with him); perhaps the name (of Sayyiduna Usamah bin Zayd (may Allah be pleased with him)) has dropped out of the original; and Allah knows best.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains a narrator, Hashim bin Marzuq, and I have not found anyone who gave his biography; the remaining narrators of this report are thiqat (trustworthy).
