Majma al-Zawaid 6517 — The seller's liability for slaves

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "After four days there is no 'uhdah (guarantee), and the buyer and seller have the option to cancel the sale as long as they have not separated from each other."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator Hisham bin Ziyad, who is matruk (abandoned).
