Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 6485

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade that fruit be sold until it becomes fit to eat, that wool on the back (of an animal) be sold, and that milk in the udder be sold. (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: The prohibition of selling fruit is mentioned in the "Sahih".
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
