وَعَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - مَرَّ بِبِنْيَةِ قُبَّةٍ لِرَجُلٍ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ فَقَالَ : " مَا هَذِهِ ؟ " . قَالُوا : قُبَّةٌ . فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " كُلُّ بِنَاءٍ - وَأَشَارَ بِيَدِهِ عَلَى رَأْسِهِ - أَكْبَرُ مِنْ هَذَا فَهُوَ وَبَالٌ عَلَى صَاحِبِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .

Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) says: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by a dome built by a man of the Ansar and asked: "What is this?" The people said: "It is a dome." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Every building" - and he pointed with his blessed hand towards his head, saying - "that is higher than this will be a burden on its owner on the Day of Resurrection."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
