Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 6269

Sayyiduna al-Sa'ib bin Suwayd (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whatever any seeker of provision (whether human or animal) takes from the crop of any one of you, Allah Almighty records a reward for that person because of it."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains a narrator, Abdullah bin Musa al-Taymi, who is thiqah (trustworthy) but makes many mistakes; the remaining narrators of this narration are thiqat (trustworthy).
