Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 6262

Sayyiduna Ubadah bin al-Samit (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: A man came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and complained to him of loneliness (solitude), so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered him to keep pigeons.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains a narrator, al-Salt bin al-Hajjaj, who is da'if (weak).
