Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 6219

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "O Allah, bless my Ummah in their morning endeavours on Thursday." The narrator states: Then Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: Never ask any man for a need at night, and never ask a blind man for a need, for modesty lies in the eyes.
Al-Bazzar and al-Tabarani in al-Kabir recorded it. Its chain contains Amr bin Musawir, who is da'if (weak).
