Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 5842

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever comes to me to visit me, having no other purpose than visiting me, it is binding upon me that I be an intercessor for him on the Day of Resurrection."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded this in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat and al-Mu'jam al-Kabir. Its chain contains a narrator, Maslamah bin Salim, who is da'if (weak).
