Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 5612

Sayyiduna Urwah bin Mudarris (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) at Mina, and he said: "O Urwah! Let your anxiety be gone."
Imam al-Bazzar recorded it in this way, and Imam al-Tabarani mentioned it within a long hadith, which has already passed in the chapter concerning the one who reaches Arafat.
The author of al-Nihayah has explained what it means; he says: "Afrakha raw'uk" means: when grief has left you.
The chain of this report contains Dawud bin Yazid al-Awdi. Ibn Adi said: I have not seen from him any munkar hadith that goes beyond the limit when a thiqah (trustworthy) narrator narrates from him. A group of scholars declared him da'if (weak).
