عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَسَّمَ غَنَمًا يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ فِي أَصْحَابِهِ وَقَالَ : " اذْبَحُوا لِعُمْرَتِكُمْ ; فَإِنَّهَا تُجْزِئُ عَنْكُمْ " . فَأَصَابَ سَعْدَ بْنَ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ تَيْسٌ .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: On the Day of Sacrifice, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) distributed sheep and goats among his Companions and said: "Slaughter them for your Umrah; they will suffice on your behalf." Sayyiduna Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas (may Allah be pleased with him) received a he-goat as his share.
