Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever heads for this House with unlawful earnings sets out in disobedience to Allah Almighty. When he enters ihram, puts his foot in the stirrup, his mount rises, and he says: 'O Allah, here I am; O Allah, here I am,' a caller calls out from the heaven: 'You are not present, nor will felicity be granted to you. Your earnings are unlawful, your provisions are unlawful, your mount is unlawful. Return burdened with sin and without reward, and receive news of what will displease you.' And when a person sets out for Hajj with lawful wealth, puts his foot in the stirrup, his mount rises with him, and he says: 'Labbayk Allahumma labbayk' (Here I am, O Allah, here I am), a caller calls out from the heaven: 'You are present, and felicity will be granted to you. I have accepted you. Your mount is lawful, your clothing is lawful, your provisions are lawful. Return with reward and free of sin, and receive glad tidings of what will delight you.'"
Imam al-Bazzar recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, Sulayman bin Dawud al-Yamami, who is da'if (weak).
