وَعَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَصُومُ الِاثْنَيْنِ وَالْخَمِيسَ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ يَحْيَى الْحِمَّانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ كَلَامٌ .

Sayyiduna Abu Rafi' (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to fast on Mondays and Thursdays.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir. Its chain contains Yahya al-Himmani, and he has been criticised.
