وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جَحْشٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ : قُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، إِنَّ لِي بَادِيَةً أُصَلِّي فِيهَا فَمُرْنِي بِلَيْلَةٍ أَنْزِلُهَا إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ فَأُصَلِّي فِيهِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " انْزِلْ لَيْلَةَ ثَلَاثٍ وَعِشْرِينَ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ ابْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ، وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ ، وَلَكِنَّهُ مُدَلِّسٌ .

Abdullah bin Jahsh reports his father's statement: I submitted: "O Messenger of Allah! I live in the open country and pray there. Direct me to a particular night so that I may come to the mosque on that night and pray there." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Come on the twenty-third night."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir. Its chain contains Ibn Ishaq, who is thiqah (trustworthy), but he is a mudallis (one who conceals defects in the chain).
