وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ فِي لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ : " إِنَّهَا لَيْلَةٌ سَابِعَةٌ أَوْ تَاسِعَةٌ وَعِشْرِينَ إِنَّ الْمَلَائِكَةَ تِلْكَ اللَّيْلَةَ فِي الْأَرْضِ أَكْثَرُ مِنْ عَدَدِ الْحَصَى " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَالْبَزَّارُ وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said about Laylat al-Qadr: "It is the twenty-seventh or the twenty-ninth night, and on that night the angels on the earth are more numerous than the pebbles."
Ahmad, al-Bazzar and al-Tabarani in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat recorded it, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
