عَنْ عَلِيٍّ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " اطْلُبُوا لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ فِي الْعَشْرِ الْأَوَاخِرِ ; فَإِنْ غُلِبْتُمْ فَلَا تُغْلَبُوا فِي السَّبْعِ الْبَوَاقِي " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَفِيهِ عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْهِلَالِيُّ ، وَثَّقَهُ ابْنُ مَعِينٍ وَغَيْرُهُ ، وَفِيهِ كَلَامٌ .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَفِيهِ عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْهِلَالِيُّ ، وَثَّقَهُ ابْنُ مَعِينٍ وَغَيْرُهُ ، وَفِيهِ كَلَامٌ .
Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Seek Laylat al-Qadr in the last ten nights; and if you are overcome, then do not be overcome in the remaining seven nights."
Ahmad recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, Abd al-Hamid bin al-Hasan al-Hilali, whom Yahya bin Ma'in and others declared thiqah (trustworthy), and he has also been criticised.
