بَابُ تَعْجِيلِ الْإِفْطَارِ وَتَأْخِيرِ السَّحُورِ .

وَعَنْ أُمِّ حَكِيمٍ بِنْتِ وَدَاعٍ قَالَتْ : سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " عَجِّلُوا الْإِفْطَارَ ، وَأَخِّرُوا السَّحُورَ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ مِنْ طَرِيقِ حُبَابَةَ بِنْتِ عَجْلَانَ ، عَنْ أُمِّهَا ، عَنْ صَفِيَّةَ بِنْتِ جَرِيرٍ ، وَهَؤُلَاءِ النِّسْوَةُ رَوَى لَهُنَّ ابْنُ مَاجَهْ ، وَلَمْ يُجَرِّحْهُنَّ أَحَدٌ ، وَلَمْ يُوَثِّقْهُنَّ .

Sayyidah Umm Hakim bint Wada' (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Hasten to break the fast, and delay the pre-dawn meal (suhur)."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir by way of Hubabah bint Ajlan, from her mother, from Safiyyah bint Jarir. These are women from whom Ibn Majah narrated; no one has criticised them, nor has anyone declared them trustworthy.
