Majma al-Zawaid 4612 — The virtue of charity
وَعَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " كُلُّ امْرِئٍ فِي ظِلِّ صَدَقَتِهِ حَتَّى يُفْصَلَ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ " .
Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) relates: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "(On the Day of Resurrection) every person will be in the shade of his charity, and will remain so until judgement is passed between the people."
