Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 4371

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) reports this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "I have exempted you from zakah on horses and slaves, and zakah is not due on less than two hundred (dirhams)."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Saghir and al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains a narrator, Muhammad bin Abi Layla, about whom there is criticism.
