وَعَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - كَانَ يُصَلِّي مِنَ الضُّحَى .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَأَبُو يَعْلَى إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ : كَانَ يُصَلِّي الضُّحَى وَرِجَالُ أَحْمَدَ ثِقَاتٌ .

Sayyiduna Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) says: the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to offer the Duha prayer.
Ahmad and Abu Ya'la recorded it, but they recorded these words: "He (peace and blessings be upon him) used to offer the Duha prayer." The narrators of Ahmad are thiqat (trustworthy).
