وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ : مَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - صَلَّى الضُّحَى إِلَّا مَرَّةً رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَالْبَزَّارُ إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ : لَمْ يُصَلِّ الضُّحَى إِلَّا مَرَّةً وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) offering the Duha prayer only once.
Ahmad and al-Bazzar recorded it, but they recorded these words: "He (peace and blessings be upon him) offered the Duha prayer only once." Its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
