Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 3294

Abdullah bin Yazid al-Khatmi said: Sayyiduna Abdullah bin al-Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with them both) went out to pray for rain for the people. He delivered a sermon, then led the prayer without the call to prayer (adhan) or the iqamah, while among the people that day were Sayyiduna al-Bara' bin Azib (may Allah be pleased with him) and Sayyiduna Zayd bin Arqam (may Allah be pleased with him).
Al-Tabarani recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
