Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 3240

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) says: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to offer two rak'ahs in the Eid prayer, reciting nothing in them except Surah al-Fatihah, and he did not recite anything more.
Ahmad recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Shahr bin Hawshab, about whom there has been criticism, and he has also been declared trustworthy.
