Sayyiduna al-Bara' bin Azib (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) offered the prayer on the day of Eid al-Adha without adhan or iqamah. Then he delivered a sermon to the men, then he went over to the women, delivered a sermon to them and urged them to give charity, until a great deal of goods had gathered with Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him). (Allamah Haythami says:) I say: From Sayyiduna al-Bara' (may Allah be pleased with him) a hadith other than this one is recorded in the Sahih and other books.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator, Abdullah bin Umar bin Aban, and I do not know him.
