Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 3233

Fa'id Abu al-Warqa' narrates: On the day of Eid I was leading Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abi Awfa (may Allah be pleased with him) to the open ground. He said: "Take me close to the pulpit." When I had brought him close, he sat down and did not offer voluntary prayers either before the Eid prayer or after it, and he related that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not offer (voluntary) prayer either before it or after it.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; the narrator Fa'id is matruk (abandoned).
