بَابٌ فِي السَّاعَةِ الَّتِي فِي يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ .

وَعَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " ابْتَغُوا السَّاعَةَ الَّتِي تُرْجَى فِي الْجُمُعَةِ مَا بَيْنَ الْعَصْرِ إِلَى غَيْبُوبَةِ الشَّمْسِ وَهِيَ قَدْرُ هَذَا - يَعْنِي : قَبْضَةً " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ وَفِيهِ ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ وَاخْتُلِفَ فِي الِاحْتِجَاجِ بِهِ وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ وَهُوَ عِنْدَ التِّرْمِذِيِّ دُونَ قَوْلِهِ : "وَهِيَ قَدْرُ هَذَا " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ وَفِيهِ ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ وَاخْتُلِفَ فِي الِاحْتِجَاجِ بِهِ وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ وَهُوَ عِنْدَ التِّرْمِذِيِّ دُونَ قَوْلِهِ : "وَهِيَ قَدْرُ هَذَا " .
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) reports this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Seek the hour that is sought on the day of Friday in the time between Asr and the setting of the sun, and it is this much." The narrator says: That is, it is a handful.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator, Ibn Lahi'ah, about whose use as evidence there is disagreement, and the rest of its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
Al-Tirmidhi recorded this narration, but it does not contain these words: "It is this much."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator, Ibn Lahi'ah, about whose use as evidence there is disagreement, and the rest of its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
