بَابُ صَلَاةِ الْمَرِيضِ وَصَلَاةِ الْجَالِسِ .
The prayer of the sick and the prayer of one sitting
Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 2903

وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَفَعَتْهُ : " صَلَاةُ الْقَاعِدِ عَلَى النِّصْفِ مِنْ صَلَاةِ الْقَائِمِ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Sayyidah Aishah Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates this as a marfu' hadith: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The prayer of one who (prays) sitting is half the prayer of one who (prays) standing."
