وَعَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ قَالَ : رَمَقْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ مَسْعُودٍ فِي الصَّلَاةِ فَرَأَيْتُهُ يَنْهَضُ وَلَا يَجْلِسُ ، قَالَ : يَنْهَضُ عَلَى صُدُورِ قَدَمَيْهِ فِي الرَّكْعَةِ الْأُولَى وَالثَّالِثَةِ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .

Abd al-Rahman bin Yazid narrates: I observed the prayer of Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him), and I saw that he would rise and not sit. The narrator says: That is, after the first rak'ah and after the third rak'ah he would rise on the front part of his feet.
