وَعَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ عَمِيرَةَ قَالَ : كَانَ النَّبِيُّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - إِذَا سَجَدَ يُرَى بَيَاضُ إِبِطَيْهِ ، ثُمَّ إِذَا سَلَّمَ أَقْبَلَ بِوَجْهِهِ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ حَتَّى يُرَى بَيَاضُ خَدِّهِ ، ثُمَّ يُسَلِّمُ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ وَيُقْبِلُ بِوَجْهِهِ حَتَّى يُرَى بَيَاضُ خَدِّهِ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ بِاخْتِصَارٍ ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .

Sayyiduna Adi bin Amirah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) went into prostration, the whiteness of his armpits could be seen. Then, when he gave the salam, he would turn his face to the right until the whiteness of his cheek could be seen; then he would give the salam to the left and turn his face that way until the whiteness of his cheek could be seen from the left side.
Imam Ahmad recorded it, and Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in abridged form; its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
