وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " كُلُّ صَلَاةٍ لَا يُقْرَأُ فِيهَا بِأُمِّ الْقُرْآنِ فَهِيَ خِدَاجٌ فَهِيَ خِدَاجٌ فَهِيَ خِدَاجٌ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الصَّغِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ وَفِيهِ كَلَامٌ .

Sayyidah Aishah al-Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Every prayer in which Surah al-Fatihah is not recited is incomplete, it is incomplete, it is incomplete."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Saghir; its chain contains Ibn Lahi'ah, about whom there is criticism.
