Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said the takbir, he would raise both his hands until he brought them level with his ears, and then he would recite: "You are free of every imperfection, O Allah, and praise belongs to You; Your name is blessed, Your majesty is exalted, and there is no god besides You."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, and its narrators have been declared trustworthy.
