وَعَنِ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " لِلصَّفِّ الْأَوَّلِ فَضْلٌ عَلَى الصُّفُوفِ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ يَحْيَى بْنُ يَعْلَى الْأَسْلَمِيُّ وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .

Sayyiduna al-Hakam bin Umayr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The first row has excellence over the other rows."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir. Its chain contains a narrator, Yahya bin Ya'la al-Aslami, who is da'if (weak).
