وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " إِنَّ اللَّهَ وَمَلَائِكَتَهُ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى الَّذِينَ يَصِلُونَ الصُّفُوفَ ، وَلَا يَصِلُ عَبْدٌ صَفًّا إِلَّا رَفَعَهُ اللَّهُ بِهِ دَرَجَةً وَذَرَتْ عَلَيْهِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ مِنَ الْبِرِّ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ وَفِيهِ غَانِمُ بْنُ أَحْوَصَ قَالَ الدَّارَقُطْنِيُّ : لَيْسَ بِالْقَوِيِّ .

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Indeed, Allah Almighty and His angels send mercy upon those who keep the rows joined. Whenever a servant joins a row, Allah Almighty raises him a degree because of it, and the angels scatter good deeds over him."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains a narrator, Ghanim bin Ahwas; al-Daraqutni (may Allah have mercy on him) said: He is not strong.
