عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - نَهَى أَنْ يُصَلِّيَ الرَّجُلُ وَرَأَسُهُ مَعْقُوصٌ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .

Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) states: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade a man to pray while he has tied his hair into a knot.
