وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي أَوْفَى قَالَ : رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَمَسُّ لِحْيَتَهُ فِي الصَّلَاةِ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ وَفِيهِ الْمُنْذِرُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ الطَّائِيُّ وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abi Awfa (may Allah be pleased with him) states: I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) touching his beard during the prayer.
Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains al-Mundhir bin Ziyad al-Ta'i, who is matruk (abandoned).
