وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " الَّذِي يُخَفِّضُ وَيَرْفَعُ قَبْلَ الْإِمَامِ إِنَّمَا نَاصِيَتُهُ بِيَدِ شَيْطَانٍ " .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ وَإِسْنَادُهُ حَسَنٌ .

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "The one who bows down or rises before the imam, his forelock is in the hand of a devil."
Al-Bazzar and al-Tabarani in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat recorded it, and its chain is hasan (good).
