بَابُ مَنْ أَمَّ النَّاسَ فَلْيُخَفِّفْ .
Whoever leads people in prayer should keep it light
Majma al-Zawaid 2368 — Whoever leads people in prayer should keep
وَعَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ : لَقَدْ كُنَّا نُصَلِّي مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - صَلَاةً لَوْ صَلَّاهَا أَحَدُكُمُ الْيَوْمَ لَعِبْتُمُوهَا عَلَيْهِ .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: We used to pray behind the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) a prayer such that, if one of you were to lead that kind of prayer today, you would find fault with him.
