عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ أَنَّهُ كَرِهَ أَنْ يَؤُمَّهُمْ عَلَى الْمَكَانِ الْمُرْتَفِعِ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .

It is reported about Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that he disliked leading the people in prayer while standing in an elevated place.
