Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 2276

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin al-Harith bin Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was offering prayer while Sayyidah Umamah bint Abi al-As (may Allah be pleased with her) was on his shoulder. When he went into bowing (ruku'), he would set her down, and when he stood up, he would pick her up.
Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir. Its chain mentions that Abu Sulayman narrated it from the Companion. If Abu Sulayman refers to Khulayd bin Abdullah al-Asari, then he is thiqah (trustworthy).
