عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الْأَكْوَعِ قَالَ : سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ فِي الْقَوْسِ وَالْقَرْنِ فَقَالَ : " صَلِّ فِي الْقَوْسِ وَاطْرَحِ الْقَرْنَ " يَعْنِي الْكِنَانَةَ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ وَفِيهِ مُوسَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ التَّيْمِيُّ وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .

Sayyiduna Salamah bin al-Akwa' (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) about offering prayer while carrying a bow and a qarn. He said: Offer prayer with the bow, but put the qarn aside. By this the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) meant the quiver.
Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains a narrator, Musa bin Muhammad bin Ibrahim al-Taymi, who is da'if (weak).
