عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ بْنِ سُفْيَانَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ : قَدِمَ وَفْدُ ثَقِيفٍ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فِي رَمَضَانَ ، فَضَرَبَ لَهُمْ قُبَّةً فِي الْمَسْجِدِ فَلَمَّا أَسْلَمُوا صَامُوا مَعَهُ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ وَفِيهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ وَهُوَ مُدَلِّسٌ وَقَدْ عَنْعَنَهُ .

Atiyyah bin Sufyan bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The delegation of the Thaqif tribe came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in Ramadan, and he had a tent pitched for them in the mosque. When they accepted Islam, they also fasted with him.
Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains Muhammad bin Ishaq, who is a mudallis, and he narrated it with 'an'anah.
