عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ عُمَرَ كَانَ يُجْمِرُ الْمَسْجِدَ مَسْجِدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - كُلَّ جُمُعَةٍ .
رَوَاهُ أَبُو يَعْلَى وَفِيهِ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْعُمَرِيُّ ، ، وَثَّقَهُ أَحْمَدُ وَغَيْرُهُ ، وَاخْتُلِفَ فِي الِاحْتِجَاجِ بِهِ .
رَوَاهُ أَبُو يَعْلَى وَفِيهِ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْعُمَرِيُّ ، ، وَثَّقَهُ أَحْمَدُ وَغَيْرُهُ ، وَاخْتُلِفَ فِي الِاحْتِجَاجِ بِهِ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) used to perfume the mosque of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) with incense every Friday.
Abu Ya'la recorded it; its chain contains Abdullah bin Umar al-Umari, whom Ahmad and others declared thiqah (trustworthy), and there is disagreement about using him as evidence.
