Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 1886

Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) relates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When the adhan is given for prayer, Satan turns his back and goes as far as al-Rawha', where he cannot hear the sound of the adhan; (when the adhan is given) the gates of the sky are opened and supplication is answered."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded this narration in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains a narrator, Zam'ah bin Salih, whom people have declared da'if (weak).
