بَابٌ فِيمَا أَعَدَّهُ اللَّهُ - سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى - لِأَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ .

وَعَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ : أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " إِنَّ فِي الْجَنَّةِ شَجَرَةً مُسْتَقِلَّةً عَلَى سَاقٍ وَاحِدٍ ، عَرْضُ سَاقِهَا ثِنْتَانِ وَسَبْعُونَ [ سَنَةٍ ] " . رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَإِسْنَادُ الطَّبَرَانِيِّ حَسَنٌ .
Sayyiduna Samurah bin Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "In Paradise there will be a tree that will stand on a single trunk, and the breadth of its trunk will be (a distance of) 72 years."
Al-Bazzar and al-Tabarani recorded it, and the chain of al-Tabarani is hasan (good).
