بَابُ تَفَاوُتِ أَهْلِ النَّارِ فِي الْعَذَابِ .

عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " إِنَّ أَهْوَنَ أَهْلِ النَّارِ عَذَابًا رَجُلٌ مُنْتَعِلٌ بِنَعْلَيْنِ مِنْ نَارٍ ، يَغْلِي مِنْهُمَا دِمَاغُهُ مَعَ أَجْزَاءِ الْعَذَابِ ، وَمِنْهُمْ مِنَ النَّارِ إِلَى صَدْرِهِ مَعَ أَجْزَاءِ الْعَذَابِ ، وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ فِي النَّارِ إِلَى تَرْقُوَتِهِ مَعَ أَجْزَاءِ الْعَذَابِ ، وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ قَدِ انْغَمَسَ فِيهَا " . رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The one with the lightest punishment among the people of Hell will be a man wearing sandals of fire, because of which his brain will be boiling, along with other parts of the punishment. Among them will be one who is in Hell up to his chest, along with parts of the punishment; among them will be one who is in Hell up to his neck, along with parts of the punishment; and there will also be one who is completely submerged in it."
